SnoozeLock — Complete Feature Overview
FREE VERSION
Everything in the free version is fully functional with no time limits or restrictions.
Unlimited Alarms
Create as many alarms as you need. Each alarm is fully independent with its own time, schedule, sound, snooze setting, and challenge. There is no cap on the number of alarms.
Alarm Scheduling
Set any hour and minute via a standard time picker.
Choose between a one-time alarm (fires once and stops) or a repeating alarm by selecting any combination of days of the week (Sunday through Saturday).
Enable or disable individual alarms with a toggle directly from the home screen without deleting them.
Alarm Sounds
Choose from a full library of 17 alarm sounds, all free:
Default, Alarm Clock, Classic Alarm, Emergency Alarm, Nuclear Alarm, Piano Chords, Ambulance Siren, Air Raid Siren, Loud Air Raid Siren, Playful Casino Slot, Place Your Bets Please, Soft Music, Soft Plucks Alarm, Lo-Fi Alarm, Rooster Crowing, EAS Alarm, Civil Defense Siren.
You can preview any sound before saving the alarm.
Snooze Control
Toggle snooze on or off per alarm.
Set the snooze duration (the number of minutes before the alarm rings again).
When snooze is enabled, a snooze button appears when the alarm fires. However, snooze is not a free pass — the user must still complete the challenge before the snooze is granted. This prevents the unconscious tap-and-sleep habit.
When snooze is disabled, the snooze button does not appear at all — the only way out is to complete the challenge.
Wake Challenges
Wake Challenges — Math Problem (Free)
Solve a randomly generated math equation before the alarm will dismiss. Three difficulty levels:
Easy — simple addition and subtraction.
Medium — multiplication, slightly more complex operations.
Hard — multi-step problems that require real mental engagement.
The problem regenerates each time to prevent memorization.
Wake Challenges — Typing Challenge (Free)
Type out a specific phrase or sentence exactly before the alarm will dismiss. Three difficulty levels:
Easy — short, simple phrase.
Medium — a longer sentence requiring care.
Hard — a longer, more complex passage that demands focus and accuracy.
Any typo resets the progress, forcing genuine wakefulness.
Next Alarm Header
The home screen displays a prominent header showing the next scheduled alarm — the time and how many hours and minutes away it is — so you always know when your next wake-up is coming.
Statistics Dashboard
Tracks your wake-up history automatically:
Total alarms completed — every time you fully complete all challenges and turn off an alarm.
Current streak — how many consecutive days you have successfully completed your alarm without skipping. Streak increments once per calendar day regardless of how many alarms fire that day.
Best streak — your all-time personal record.
Snoozes do not count toward streak progress. Only a complete challenge dismissal does.
Statistics Reset
In Settings, you can reset all statistics to zero at any time.
Notification Delivery (Fallback)
If AlarmKit permission is denied, the app automatically falls back to local notifications with follow-up reminders every 30 seconds so the alarm keeps going until you respond.
SnoozeLock Settings
View and manage notification and alarm permission status.
See which alarm delivery method is active (AlarmKit system alarm vs. local notifications).
View your Pro status and access the upgrade paywall.
